Terms and Conditions

By using our online registration form to register a domain name, you agree that you have read these terms and conditons listed in this page as well as the information provided during the registration process. Once you submit the request for a domain name, and receive a confirmation email stating the the domain name has in fact been registered in the name supplied, the same said registration may not be canceled nor will any request a refund be honored since the domain name and the rights to it immediately belong to you or the company you represent.

AKC will register the domain name on your behalf with one of the top level domain authorities which have been empowered by the United States goverenment to act as the registration authority(ies) for domain names (collectively know as the InterNIC).

AKC is now required to collect the InterNIC fee as well as our own registration fee (for our services and the use of our DNS servers) at the time of registration. Previously the InterNIC billed seperately. These fees will be charged to the credit card number you supplied.

Currently we charge a one time fee for the use of our Domain Name Servers $29.00 and $70.00 for the first two years of the InterNIC fee. A portion of these fees may be waived if you host a website with us at the time of registration. No portion of the fee however is refundable, once it is charged to your credit card.

AKC also provides volume discounts to ISP and others registering more that 3 domains at a time. To receive the discount you MUST NOT use the online registration form before you call us to setup a volume discount account at: (800) 298-9000
