Do I need Metatags

Good Question! On some search engines, if you use metatags, your page position is lowered in the ranking than a page that does not. However if a search engine requires the use of Metatags and your page has none, it will not show up in that search engines index.

The simple answer is YES! you need meta tags, but truthfully sometimes you are better served by having different pages saying the same thing, one with metatags and one without.

Yes, we are quite aware that this is a lot more work, but it pays off in the end. If you really want to get fancy, you would make up a specific page for each search engine and caters to the desires of each. This is another method to move your pages toward the top of the index of a search engine.

Please note, that we are not telling you the tricks we use to move a site to the top. If we did, everyone would know how to do it. But if we host your site, and you pick a plan that includes search engine submissions, we use these " tricks " to make your site or page very visible!
